About Us

The Australian International Schools Association (AISA) was formally instituted at a meeting of Principals and Heads of School held in Kuala Lumpur on April 27, 2012. The member schools are keen to promote cooperation and interaction between our teachers and students, sponsor professional development activities, collaborate in the recruitment of high quality staff and jointly promote the advantages of an Australian education in the Asian/Middle East region.

Each of the nine schools in our association has its own unique way of adapting Australian curriculum and teaching methodologies to the needs of their local community but in the spirit of international education we all seek to promote universal human values.

New School in Cambodia

The Australian International School - Phnom Penh will be opening in August 2017 with Early Learning to Grade 5 classes using the Australian National Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate curriculum framework. The School is situated on 10 acres of grounds showcasing purpose-built ELC, Junior and Senior School Buildings amongst spacious lawns, established gardens and sporting ovals. The School Board has appointed Maxine Driscoll, an award-winning Head of School with Australian and International experience in leading schools to be the Founding Principal. She is currently recruiting educators to form a team of founding teachers who will begin to create an amazing dream for students, parents and themselves.
